Janez Trdina observed and described the production and use of buckwheat in Dolenjska more than a hundred years ago. Trdina's buckwheat from the Rangus mill has returned to the Gorjanci area. The temperate climate and traditional methods of production and use ensure the quality of the buckwheat crop, buckwheat porridge and buckwheat flour.
