Buckwheat groats are a nutritious and versatile ingredient, perfect for preparing quick and healthy meals. Combined with an egg, fresh vegetables and your favourite toppings, they create a balanced plate that keeps you full and gives you energy. The recipe can easily be adapted to your taste – add tuna, avocado, cheese or any other favourite side.

Ingredients:
100 g buckwheat groats
1 egg
1/2 fresh cucumber
1 tablespoon sour cream or yogurt
1 teaspoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional additions:
Fresh vegetables such as tomato, zucchini, avocado, bell pepper, etc.
Tuna or roasted chicken
Cottage cheese or cheese
Fresh herbs such as parsley or chives
Procedure:
Cook the buckwheat groats in lightly salted water for about 10 minutes, then drain.
In a pan, fry the egg sunny-side up in a little olive oil, or prepare scrambled eggs if preferred.
Cut the cucumber into small cubes.
Arrange the cooked buckwheat groats, egg, cucumber, and a spoonful of sour cream or yogurt on a plate.
Add any optional toppings you like and season with salt, pepper, or fresh herbs.
